How much does it cost to frame a picture?

Our team of expert designers will work with you to determine which framing services are right for your artwork.  From original art to posters, a cherished memento to the perfect accent in your living room, we will help you design the picture-perfect treatment. In most cases we can have your project completed in seven days or less.  Perfect results are guaranteed through the efforts of our skilled and certified picture framers using only the finest conservation materials with the latest technologically advanced tools such as the Wizard computerized mat cutter.

The cost of framing is based on the size of the frame and the frame that you chose.  Cheri’s Frame Gallery & Decor has inexpensive good-looking frames, expensive frames and many frames priced in the middle.  The frame is usually 50% of the framing price.  Other costs are mats, glazing, mount and fit.  At Cheri’s Frame Gallery & Decor we only use acid-free mats.  This offers the best protection for your artwork. In addition to paper mats we also have suede, linen and other decorator textured mats.  We offer non-glare glass as well as conservation grade glass, both regular and anti-reflection. We can also frame your artwork with Museum glass, an expensive almost invisible glass.

Mounting sets your artwork on a backing.  It can be dry mounted in our heat press or conservation mounted several ways. The fit includes the cover on the back of the picture, a pocket for your Certificate of Authenticity, the appropriate weight of hanging wire on the back and hangers. If you are framing an inexpensive poster or a very valuable piece, we can guide you through the framing process.
